Runner Checklist

There can be a lot on your mind the days leading up to race day. We offer our runner checklist to follow, making sure you are ready to run and have fun on race day!

Before the Race

  • $35-$200 for race day entry, goodies at expo, food, coffee, etc
  • Race confirmation print out or race bib & timing chip
  • Directions and map to race
  • Driver license
  • Credit cards and/or check book
  • Keys
  • Mobile phone
  • Hat or visor
  • Sunglasses
  • Safety pins or race belt

During the Race

  • Water
  • Electrolyte drink
  • Energy gels/chew/bites
  • Energy Bar
  • Hydration pack
  • Anti-chafing lotion
  • Lip balm with sunscreen
  • Sunscreen
  • Digital music player
  • Sports watch, heart rate monitor

After the Race

  • Protein bar
  • Recovery drink
  • Ice pack
  • Towel
  • Bandages
  • Pain reliever
  • Massage stick/roller
  • Camera
  • Food if you do not want the pancake breakfast at post-race festivities
    Change of clothes – Extra shirt, shorts/pants, socks, underwear, shoes
