Race Location and Directions

Once again, this year’s race will be held at the Universal Studios Backlot. Parking is FREE. No pets are allowed on the backlot.

From 101 Freeway North

Take 101 North.
Take the exit toward Universal Center Blvd.
Continue Straight.
Turn Right at Universal Center Drive.
Drive up towards Universal Studios.
Look for Curious George Parking Lot (top of the hill on right side).
Follow the signs.
Take elevator down to the Plaza area.

From 101 Freeway South

Take 101 South.
Exit Barham Blvd.
Turn Right at Cahuenga Blvd W.
Take the 1st Right on to Universal Center Drive.
Drive up towards Universal Studios.
Look for Curious George Parking Lot (top of the hill on right side).
Follow the signs.
Take elevator down to the Plaza area.

From Burbank/Glendale Area

Head southwest on E Olive Ave.
Continue onto Barham Blvd.
Turn right at Cahuenga Blvd E.
Turn right at Universal Center Dr.

Using Metro

You can take the Metro Red Line and exit at the Universal City Station. There will be no shuttle service offered to the entrance to City Walk the morning of the race.

If you choose to take the Metro:

  • Be prepared to walk to the top of the hill to City Walk
  • You will need to walk to the other end of City Walk (The theater-side).
  • Next, walk to the parking lot behind the Hard Rock Café (Curious George Parking Structure).
  • Follow the signs to the Race Plaza Area.
