Welcome to the official web site for the
Say No To Drugs Holiday Classic!
Join us on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Universal Studios Backlot for a great cause to Say No To Drugs!
The Los Angeles Say No To Drugs Race Holiday Classic originated in 1988 in Clearwater, Florida to call attention
to the drug problem and to benefit drug awareness and education programs.
The Los Angeles race is now in its ninth year and has expanded yearly. Thousands of runners participate allowing us to contribute towards the education of children – teaching them the truth about drugs and what they do to the body and mind.
The Say No To Drugs Race is for all ages and ability levels. The race is organized and produced by Team Against Drugs – basically a small group of people being active about drug education and awareness in our community.
Last year there were over 2,000 participants. The race participants and spectators were sworn in as Drug-Free Marshals – this is a popular program with youth groups and police enforcement agencies, which helps educate and empower youth in the the fight against widespread drug use.
Proceeds collected go to our three beneficiaries including the Boys & Girls Club of America, Drug-Free Marshals, and Friends of Narconon to benefit drug education and awareness programs.
